What you are buying
PostCreator is a desktop application for macOS that builds Instagram posts with the brand you declare: colours, type, logo and tone of voice.
What you buy is a perpetual licence for one person, with a single payment. It is not a subscription and it does not expire: the version you buy is yours and keeps working.
The licence covers commercial use of everything you export, client work included. What it does not cover is reselling, redistributing or sublicensing the application itself.
Requirements, and what happens if you do not meet them
The application needs a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 12 or later. There is no build for Intel Macs, none for Windows and none for the browser.
These requirements are written on the sales page, above the buy button, precisely so that nobody buys by mistake. If it happens anyway, you get your money back: see the refunds section.
What is NOT included
AI is not included. To generate text or photographs you connect your own ChatGPT account. You contract that account with OpenAI, it is billed separately, and it is governed by OpenAI's terms, not by these.
The application does not post to Instagram and does not schedule posts. It produces the image file and its job ends there: uploading it is yours to do.
Without connecting any AI account, everything else works the same: templates, the layer editor and exporting.
Price, payment and tax
The price is €39 per licence.
Payment is processed by Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record for the sale. That means Gumroad collects and remits whatever VAT applies in the buyer's country.
VAT is added on top at checkout, so the final amount may be higher than €39 depending on where you are.
Gumroad issues the invoice and emails it when the purchase completes.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Because this is digital content delivered immediately, EU rules allow the fourteen-day right of withdrawal to lapse once the download has begun, if the buyer has expressly agreed and acknowledged losing it. Gumroad collects that consent during checkout.
Regardless of that, and because a mistaken purchase should not cost anyone money: you get a full refund if the application does not start on your machine — for instance if you have an Intel Mac or a version of macOS older than 12 — or if the product does not do what the sales page says it does.
To ask for one, write to hola@davidbarahona.com with the email address you bought with. Se resuelve en 48 horas.
Liability
The application is delivered as is, with the functionality described on the sales page. Care is taken to make it work, but it is not warranted to be free of defects or fit for a particular purpose other than the one described.
Content produced with the application is the responsibility of whoever publishes it. The application helps you make it; it does not check whether what you write is true, lawful or appropriate.
You are responsible for holding the rights to the images, trade marks and text you put into it.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law.
If you are a consumer and want to complain, write to hola@davidbarahona.com first. You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
